bonfire night and party....

the fireworks set off with a fantastic bang.... alongside with some classical music.... and BAM.... everyone feels as thought they are in a Disney movie... i felt as though i was 8 again.... its my favourite season to celebrate... dont have to buy presents for people.... you dont have to be nice to people just because they are part of your family ... nor do you have to contend with any drunken member of your family givin you what for because youve not got them another beer from the fridge yet.... nope bonfire night to me is like a kid on a playground.... PLAYTIME... setting things on fire.... legally.... and funny bright shiny lights shoot out of them...and make pretty loud squeals going round and round.... or you get the biggest firework in the box and you light it and run and all it is is 1 fire sourer so by the time you have got to your point of safety the firework has already fizzled out... but still its only the fire works that tend to disappoint and nothing else... hot chilli on the stove with homemade bread to warm up your cockles...and u huge bonfire in the midst of the garden.... i make it sound so far away.... it was probably 2ft away.... people will have left smelling of burnt wood chip tables...

photoshop addict...

i have just had an epiphany, and suddenly all i want to do is play on photoshop all the time, i want more photoshoots to style. im amazed. well the date didnt happen, he just didnt seem to get in touch... oh well i must have bored him.... lol...but either way i have had a fun day at my friend rich's house and played on photoshop... he made me toad in the hole to cheer me up because ive been ill past few days... im sure il get over it soon, hopefully... i was thinking i may need rehab for this addiction...:S... but plenty more pictures to come...:)

well, life at the minute is going quite smoothly, no psychotic exes to contend with... but puttin that aside i do have a date on sunday, with a cheeky chappy gentleman. only met him briefly but he is my best mates boss....going off to a pub called 'The Shard' in poulton. never heard of it but it does sound like a good old traditional pub....i hope it goes well but also on top of that my recent photoshoot went really well, i used my friend shona to model.. she was fantastic and i wud defo be using her again... but in all honesty, i do feel low at the minute, not low. more like i feel like im set in the background compared to everyone else...but still hopefully its just a glitch. not heard from my best mate in a few days, her husband is up. so very much doubt ably that she will get intouch. but still, iv done a bit of work on photoshop and u shud take a look at these pics... see wot u think...

my new project...

this is based on Yves Saint Laurent, its a perfume campaign project... had lots of fun preparing for it, but did feel slightly lost at first as to what we was going to do.... we as a group, me ashleigh and rachel all pulled together in the end and came out with a fantastic shoot... i must at least congratulate the photographer dave, who i must admit was extremely impressed with my model and asked her if she wouldnt mind being in his exhibition in march. ... i thought that was amazing... go shona...(model)... so i popped backed up to see my tutor and to top it off asked if shona would like to model for the 3rd year fashion show... i feel brilliant right now....as you will see shona was a fantastic model...

new job started- check. brief and sketchbook complete - check. neon clothes for 53 degrees- oops. im lacking in neon.... not a problem i shall just make myself look presentable with the night. i am not the sort of person to be buying neon.... its awful and reminds me of the 90's. but i am definatly in need of a good girly night out with all the promotions girls and a well deserved one aswell... my brief is complete also and i shall post my picture

styling second year....

as it just so happens i'm back at uni now, just completed our first styling brief. considering it was all promotions in first year i was quite impressed that we got the chance to do something practical and fun for our first project in this semester. we all got given a garment to try and remake or rework and turn it into another wearable garment. i got given a pair of harem pants.... and changed it into a baggy top. i changed the colour from white to purple (with a few mistakes on the way) and created a color where the crotch was.... i was rather impressed with myself the way it turned out and the photo shoot was exceptional. we had a real model come in who was fantastic and really worked her moves...
